Default Can't find a Z

Can't find a Z to save my life that has the options I want. Trying to find a blue touring sport manual is like trying to find a leprechaun. Last year when trying to find my 09 yellow all I could find were blue. Blue was everywhere. Now that I'm trying to get a replacement Z (my yellow one was totalled ) I can't find a blue to save my life. To make it worse I tried talking to two different local dealers about ordering a 2011. One told me they don't do that and I would have to wait until the 2011's came out at which point they would try to allocate one or dealer swap. The other dealer said ordering is no problem but that orders wouldn't be taken until mid Dec. At this point I'm thinking of going with a used C6 Vette or new STI sedan but I'd really rather just get my Z. Any advice?

Problem is I'm using my 280z and 300zx to get around. My job requires a lot of driving every day (going from one clinic to the next, or hospital). Although my Z's haven't given me trouble in years I'm worried one of these days something will go out and if I'm on the job it's really going to be a pain in the *** trying to reschedule my patients. Not to mention neither have a/c or heat, the 280z doesn't exactly do well in the rain, and my 300zx has leaks at the top of the windows when it rains. Previously I just drove them when there was good weather on the weekend; they haven't been my DD's for 4 years now. I know even if I ordered one now it would still take 2-3months to get it but at least I would know it was coming. Having to wait until Dec just puts off getting another car that much longer.

I was looking for a Touring coupe 6MT w/Sport & Nav in Platinum Graphite. But the dealer couldn't find one in that color. He DID find one in blue.

You could give him a call,Ivan at Gresham Nissan in Oregon. Hope this works for you. ($37,400)

...... you'll notice I did say "was" looking

I've browsed through a ton of Nissan dealership inventories that were available on the Nissan site after the build your own summary. Who knows if they're actually updated at all but I had a real hard time finding a Red touring/sport 6spd with Nav. Not easy.

If anyone can actually confirm whether or not Nissan updates the inventory on those pages I'd be happy to keep an eye out for you. I'd imagine a dealer would have better tools to locate one though.

You can always rent a car until you find the one you want, if you don't trust your other Z's.
