So last saturday i went to go look at my yellow 09 370z that i was going to get. it is a touring sport package but me and the sales man could not come to a set price. so today he calls me and stiil does not give me the price that i wont for the car but thats not the problem. The following day i went to nissan to look at some new 370z base models the sales man said he can get me brand new 2010 base model for 29,500. my plan was to get a base 370z and to do somethings to it, this will be my first project car so i dont know what am getting myself into. WHAT DO YOU THINK HELP???!!!!

if it's going to be a project car i suppose no sportpackage is ok cause you're going to be BBK'ing it anyways.

what do you mean by bbk? by the time i get the yellow z its going to 2 years old but i love that fact that its a sport package touring and i dnt have to do that much work on it, but at the same time i would not mind getting a 2010 that i can do work on i will negotiate for a lower price but i just never done anything crazy to cars my first project car

If you could find one with the sport package & manual, if will def be worth it.

Unless the yellow color, which you can't buy new anymore, is more important to you than price, I'd say it is too expensive. The dealer sold me my '09 in May for $32,900. 21 miles and with sport, tour, NAV. Granted I negotiate deals for a living, but this one was easy. I have seen two dozen or more 370's on the road, and only one yellow.
