Dealers in NY dickin me around???
 

Hi Nismo peeps,

So long story short: Been trying to buy a pearl white Nismo for the last 2 months and have been dealing with a dealer in Brooklyn, New York. They quoted me for 38k (which seems good)...BUT, for 2 months now they keep saying that there is NOT ONE 2010 Pearl White Nismo left!!!...In ALL of AMERICA!!!:confused:
This is very very hard to believe. So I stated that I would be fine to wait for a 2011 Pearl White Nismo...and low and behold they keep saying that the factory will not give them ANY information regarding when they are making them. I'm just so frustrated, because I've been saving for this car for 2 years and it's TIME!!! Anyone have any information that would help??

2011 orders have not begun yet so the dealership is right in not knowing anything yet.
On there not being a single white 2010 Nismo left could be true, asking someone I know that has a white Nismo on their lot a month ago and if they still have it.

Edit: Just got a response, he thinks they just sold it recently, sorry. :(

There's one white one down in south carolina, you can make a dealership transfer.

Right on guys! Thanks for some quick responses! I'm currently living in new york so I'd imagine if i want something out of the north-east area there will be extra shipping charges, etc. Should i just wait for the 2011??? I honor any advise given.

Koeppel Nissan is in NY and a sponsor on the forum, not sure if they are near you but they might be able to help you find a white Nismo since your current dealership cannot. Many guys in NY have worked with Joe and had good results.

If i were you i wouldn't wait for it. My 09 is pretty mug the same as the 11. Im guessing the 11's wont be any different. The white one down here was just exspensive compared to mine. Sc is in the same zone as ny.

Do you know if it's new (no miles)?

Last time i check was 0 to very low at all. That would be the best bet my friend. Its a nice 10 nismo even with all the individual wrappings lol.

Thanks again guys for the help....im totally bewildered at the fact that a dealer would tell me 4x that they can't find one...arn't they in business to SELL CARS??? Ridiculous. So people know: Bay Ridge Nissan = do not care about you. Worst dealer i've ever delt with.

Don't go to bayridge. They are horrible. They quoted me GTR for like 90k when they are selling easily under MSRP. I recommend that you go visit Koepell nissan on northern blvd queens. They'll give you good pricing and very helpful in getting you the car that you want. Look for the manager Joe Clem.

Spoke to Joe from Koeppel yesterday...great guy. :tup: I'm 95% leaning towards just placing an order for a 2011. End of year...what's waiting another 4-5 months? :happydance: Just wish the factory could add a navigation for the 11' model...:rolleyes:

Do you want a nismo or not. I paid to have ours shiped in like other am sure. If you want toys with the car you need to get a 370z not a nismo. We like the car as it is and will add our toy as time goes. If I wasnt in Iraq we would have gotten a 09 and been in the first family. You can get an 11 and have a great Z but the plate wont have that 10 on it. You might wish you had after you get that 11. But eather way the car will be the same and people will look hard at it. Be happy they arnt cheep. ROLL TIDE.

Haha and they've still got a 2009 Touring+Sport in blue sitting there. Proof that Z's just aren't selling right now.

:iagree: I have 2 local Nissan dealerships and they both had 2009s left over. A White one and a blue one. Looks like the White may have sold though. The blue one is still for sale.

I test drove it a couple of weeks ago lol. Watched the salesman burn the clutch as he tired to park the car after the test drive.

Hey Footloose did you buy your Z at Sutherlin Nissan? Are they mod friendly?

I actually bought mine at Ferman of Tampa about 6 months ago. I'm looking for a new one now since I wrecked it Friday morning:mad:

It seems that Sutherlin is mod friendly. They sell all kinds of Stillen parts and install there and they didnt say anything about my G3 intake when I was there.

Good to know. When my lease is up and I get my Z, I'll probably to go Sutherlin. I didn't like Marazzi to much.
