The car didn't cost me 29K.
The car itself was 20K. I was upside down on the loan for the Altima. This is the situation I'm trying to avoid again.

I'm telling you, if you get the Z now, you will be back in the same situation when you bought the Sonata. You said you make good income, so pay off the Sonata and then get the Z. Sometimes, people disregard reason and logic and act out irrationally and on impulse. Patience is a virtue, plus the Z will always be there waiting for you.
