Help for new 2009 370z Pricing?
Hi, I am new to the forum and getting ready to buy a new 370z. I found a new 2009 370z on a dealer lot. It is the coupe touring model, sport package, automatic, Navigation pkg, with floor mats and mud guards. The dealer says sticker is $41,850. When I inquired, he said they would sell it for $35,489. I was hoping to get this for around $34,000 or less. Can anyone help me determine if this is a good deal? I realize this is a 2009 with the 2011's about to come out so I am a bit skeptical anyways. What is a reasonable/good deal on this? BTW...it is also the color scheme in and out that I am wanting.

In my lurking I have read lots of people getting 2010s for as low as 37,000 OTD. If it has more than a few miles on the odometer its probably been test driven a bunch. Couldn't it have been on the dealer's lot for nearly 2 years at most? They can't sell the car, so I'd low ball them and see if they go for it...

I just got a new 2009 370z touring, automatic, sports, floor and trunk mats, splash guards for 34k OTD @ 6% tax. Took me about 15 - 20 minutes of actual negotiating over the phone. He called back in another 15 minutes and did the deal. Sticker was just a bit over 39k. Having shopped around my location I found most dealers unwilling to sell them cheap. One dealer on an identical car, but with 2500 miles, refused to drop below 33k before TTL and it was a demo. As I have read several times on this forum, if it is THE car you want, don't piss them off over a small (relatively small compared to total cost) amount of money.

Thanks for the information guys.... I am going to see what I can do with the dealer.

I paid 31k OTD for an 09 w/ touring + nav and a clear bra installed with ~4% sales tax.
