So are you getting a roadster or a coupe? You said you wanted a roadster, but listed a coupe.

Take a look at the link below and check out what the invoice price is.
http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-p...ice-price.html

Most people are getting at least $500 below invoice, but even at invoice price, 42k OTD is way too high for a coupe.

Just a rough estimate:
$36630 (Invoice price based on model and options listed)
+$750 (Freight)
+$1121 (VA Tax)
+ $600 (Additional Fees)
= $39101 (OTD)

I would tell them no more than 39k OTD and go from there.

I was thinking that quote was really high too. Seriously, you can get a better deal than that.

Freight $750?
Additional Fees 600?

Wow that's high!

:iagree: I would probably try and push a little lower, even.

KaienZ34 08-20-2010 10:56 AM

You should be able to work it a little lower, but some dealers just won't come down no matter how much you push. At that point it's time to try a new dealership.

Don't walk ... run away. :eekdance:

NCSUPACK09 08-20-2010 11:22 AM

Guys calm down. I was just showing him how a very conservative estimate was still 3k below what his original OTD cost was gonna be. I personally would go much lower, but it seems that he may have already put himself in a hole when he told them that he would pay no more than 42K OTD.

KaienZ34 08-20-2010 01:32 PM

That may be true but until he signs there's allways time to back out.

well false alarm, am glad one of you caught that coupe, touring thing. yes i jump out the door on that price because i thought it was for a touring model roadster.now i need to get a bottom line price on a touring 370, manual with nav. system, sport package, mud flaps, right color.no one here in va seem to want to give up a fair price. i dont want to make the dealership take a lost, but i don't want to send the sale manager to fla on my dime.i just want to get a little under edmonds price for the z i want. LOOKING....HELP.

2009 370Z Coupe

Hey I just traded my 2009 Coupe for a 2010 40th. I had upgraded heated leather seats installed, tinted windows, clear vinyl package added. It had 9000 miles on it. Know where you can get it. Saw it on the lot a few days ago. It is graphite in color with black interior. NOTHING wrong with this car. I had the teflon package also ( maybe something to bargain with since they wouldn't transfer it to my new car.) If interested, PM me.

optiontrader 08-21-2010 01:53 AM

Fair price on 2010 370Z nowadays seems around invoice, around $37.7k for your configuration. You should aim for that. $42k+ is a bit high...
