Just took the plung - PG/Touring/Sport/Nav

Well, just did it! Traded in the Z for PG/Touring with Sport and Nav Package with Gray interior. Thanks to AK and everyone for sharing great info on this site. Paid $38,495 but have to wait until later in the week for the car to arrive from W. Va. With this snow storm, may take until the weekend. I feel like I did fairly well on the trade. Biggest problem was driving the 350Z home in the snow. Safely parked in the garage until the new one arrives.

If you're in the Richmond area, see Justin Sauer at Victory Nissan of Mechanicsville. Tell him Len sent you...

Pics to follow once I pick it up! Soon to be:driving:

^^ now that's just an awesome colour combo

PG is the Best colour for the Z......easy to clean.....not noticeable to see dirt and scratches on it......good colour !!!!!!

Update...the dealer "lost" the car in W. Va. Now, supposed to be getting the PG with Black interior from NY. Hopefully, Tue. / Wed.
Visited UltraShield of Richmond today and setting up the clear bra as soon as I can get it. Trying not to get too excited but we've gone from 12" of snow on Monday to 75 degrees today! AHHHHH!

^The dealer lost the car??? Did it dissolve? Is he a compulsive gambler?

LenZToy 03-07-2009 12:05 PM

No...apparently when the snow melted, they "discovered" the care was reserved. My guess is the two dealerships couldn't come to agreement. No worries...hopefully I'll pick up the new car on Tue or Wed.

As one of the guys who used to work at a dealership, I can honestly say, cars did get lost sometime. When they are covered in a lot of snow, they can be easy to miss among hundreds of others when you're flying down the aisles looking. And sometimes, someone forgets to put the stock number on the mirror to find them easily making it even more annoying. Keyless entry helps, though. But lots of snow can hide flashing lights :)

Long story short - its easy for a car to go missing for a little while.
