2011 370Z Available to order
 

All,

Does anyone know when the 2011 models will be available at the dealer and when they will be available to order? I'm having a hard time looking for a 2010 so I am willing to wait for the 2011's but looking for dates.

They will be available at the dealer on the exact date that they arrive. On that day you may place the order for the vehicle that you have chosen. This applies only to the vehicles arriving on that date, not the vehicles no longer there.

The 2011 370Z Coupe and NISMO 370Z go on sale in October 2010.
Revisions for 2011 include:

* RearView Monitor added to Navigation Package (370Z Touring)
* One new exterior color: Gun Metallic

I wish there were more choices than sand-brown, silver, or black for the interior. I really like the 40th red.

There's still plenty left it seems - are you waiting to pull the trigger for a reason? Pricing on the 2010's are pretty insane...

I'm waiting for 2011's. If you want a auto or a 40th, there are tons of them still in-stock. but Im looking for a Pearl Wite with silve interior, Touring, Sport, with nav, manual. I can find all of that but the manual part. I have looked accross the entire mid to west coast and not one available. I also am starting to like the idea of a rear view camera thats on the 2011's.

Silver/White/Grey I believe it's really grey but its so light of a grey its almost white.

Well I got a call from my dealership. They ordered my 2011 car today. It will be part of the october production run. It will be in my hands late november or early december.

Where do they mount the rearview camera?

On my G37 Coupe, it was right under the spoiler... probably in that area.

Typically Right next to the trunk release button and the license plate lights

right in the center? If so, win.
If it's like the JDM one, fail. I don't want off center like that. It should be centered on the vehicle in order to accurately judge distance.

That's why they put lines in the screen. In color going green farthest away to red near the bumper. you can judge the object 's distance from the the lines on the screen. And when you turn the wheel the lines turn in the direction of the path you are going.

It's definitely in the center.

I'm loving my new Z... I now like almost everything about it. But yeah, the backup camera I miss... unfortunately it made me so lazy... I could just glance at the screen and know nothing was behind me and go. Well, that doesn't work now. Forgot to look last night and almost backed into someone!

Here's a pic of the backup camera on my G37. I'm sure it should be placed similarly on the Z.

Yeah, the way it's set up like that is fantastic. You might not trust it at first, but once you realize it's SPOT on, it becomes foolproof.

Well, I heard many date for general release. Oct 25th was what I had heard. I did not look into this too much. I just ordered one in early sept. I was told that my order would be built in Oct. and would be here in the states by late Nov or early Dec. The dealer called me 2 days ago to give me a update and stated that my 2011 Z will be here in ealry Dec. When they put my order in in sept. they did not have any pricing yet. They showed me the order sheet and invioce price and msrp prices were both blank.

:Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) today announced U.S. pricing for the complete lineup of 2011 Nissan 370Z models – the 370Z Coupe, 370Z Roadster and NISMO 370Z, which are on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide.

Anyone actually seen one? Or, does this simply mean that a dealer will take your order?

Ordering them was possible about a week ago, ever since NissanUSA.com had the build your own for 2011 out. As for it being on the lot, it depends where you are. The colser you are to Cali prob would get it end of Nov. wouldn't be surprised if a few already have them. If you in the middle around Louisiana Jan-Feb and anywhere else March should be the lastest for NY.

Got the call I have been waiting for. My new car is on the boat somewhere in the Pacific. I even have the VIN number. Hopefully, the next call will tell me to come and get it. The sooner the better.

Got the call today to come check out the new "gun metallic" 2011 Z they have at the dealer here in AZ...I am going tomorrow!

I just test drove a 2011 Z base + sport A/T in the new gun metallic color. The gun metallic is not even close to as dark as the 40th Anniversary color. I have seen the PG, 40th, and the new gun metallic, but I was not fortunate to see them all at once to get an accurate comparison. However, from memory, I have to say the GM is VERY similar to the PG. It was a very nice color and I probably would have bought it if it was a M/T.

no pics? I'm really curious to see, i figured i'd be darker than the PG but lighter than the 40th.

I think it is a little darker than PG and it is probably easier to tell with both of them next to each other...The PG and 40th owners probably can judge better than me!

yes, that is a little darker then the pg I have. It is a really nice color, had it been offered in 2010 i would have got it

Getting anxious... Does anyone have a good idea of how long it takes to ship a new Nissan Z from Japan to the east coast?

I just got off the phone with my local nissan dealer. They are saying that my 2011 that I ordered in Sept will be at the dealership on Wednesday and I can pick it up that evening. Very excited. Hope it all works out.

Took me 6 months to get my 2011 shipped to Belgium :shakes head:.

Ordered during the early summer and got it mid-November :ugh2:

so nothing changed for 2011 except the option of backup camera which is in the rearview mirror rather then the GPS nav screen?
If so, fail.

The back-up camera display is only in the rear view mirror if you don't have the nav. If you have the nav, then it displays on that screen.

Also for 2011, there is no up charge for the black cherry paint

Is the rearview camera centered? or is it like the JDM rearview camera that is off centered in the rear?

The cam is off center. I got my 2011 on Nov 28th. Been lovin it. I can confirm that it is off center. The reason its off center is the trunk buttons are in the way.
