Devising my attack plan
So, I have heard advice from multiple local people suggesting take the Carsdirect price, then see how much the dealer can beat it, then float that dealer quote around to other dealers. Then I read in the sticky, pretty much the first one to mention price is the loser. I know thats a generalization, but in my scenario:
2010 Base 7A CarsDirect = 30,500 Based on what dealers appear to be offering through the forums, I am wondering if I should not even throw that price out there since it seems high. Invoice thread shows ~30,100 but deals have been had for 1000 and 1500 below invoice. You guys think I should just offer that price and forget about Carsdirect? That would put me offering: 29,100 or 28,600 + TTT. Truecar - Great Price: Less than 29,122 Truecar - Good Price: Less than 29,949 Truecar - Overpriced Price: 29,950 New member btw, Hi! |
