My credit went down because I have the 370z loan under my belt. I'll wait until my 5th payment and then refinance with penfed or bank of America.

I'm showing a 2.99% option now for Pentagon. I will applying shortly, but I have no idea what my score is.
2 years ago I was turned down for a $31,000 loan with $2000 cash down and a score of 630 or similar. Now I bought a 370Z for $31500(after taxes and such, used 2009 with an upside down trade), and I put $500 down and got 7.9% about 5.5 months ago thru Nissan Motor Credit. But I have no idea what my score was. NOW, I have totaled my car Friday morning at 2:30am and just waiting on insurance to call me back Monday about it. I'm pretty sure it's totaled, but it'll be close. I plan on using the invoice pricing here in the forums to negotiate a new 2010 and thru Pentagon I might be able to afford a bit more at a lower interest rate. So, I'm curious. I have no idea what my FICO score is and two years ago it was 630 or so..... I'm guessing now it's 675+? What types of interest rates are you guys getting with this score? I'm desperate to get back into another Z. I can't decide whether I want Red or Black again. All I care about is the 6spd with Sport Package. I don't care about other goodies but if I can score them as a bonus, then sweet. Nismo would be nice but I don't see myself getting one of those because I can't see a dealer getting rid of a Nismo at invoice. I'm willing to fly across the country and drive back if I have to.

Yep, if you're top tier, BofA has 2.99 for 60 mos or 3.29 for 72 on 2009 and 2010 cars purchased from a dealer right now (including used if they're 2010 model year). Combo that with these crazy end of model year below-invoice pricing the dealers are starting on their remaining inventory and you can get a smoking deal right now.

Hi guys. I'm now a proud owner of 370Z! I got 2.99% for 72 months at SECU. I think if you're from Maryland, you can be a member of this credit union (secumd.org).

lol. Where's GT-R Man? I was being entertained. For some reason I read everything he had put down with some sort of Italian Godfather type accent. And I didn't realize I was reading it as such until several pages into the forum. I like GT-R Man.
Mr. GT-R man, I was wondering...what would be the best way to negotiate a lease? The dealer always seems to want to negotiate higher down payments and lower monthly payments rather than the total price. How should I go about getting the best lease deal? Should I offer a few hundred above invoice or how does this work? |

For all of you who are about to get the 370z read carefully all this information here cause it really helps out to get educated and know what to do when you first put your foot inside a dealer.

Nice. Did the dealer offer it or did you find it yourself?

Dealer wasn't going lower than 5% for me and after I said I am not signing for that in the finance office because I knew I could get lower and I got my 1.99 and then signed the papers. Dealers are so sneaky.
