Unhappy How to bargain for Special Order Custom 370Z?

First off, I don't have much experience in buying cars.

I am trying to buy a 2009 370Z, and I want to get a 6-Speed Manual, Touring w/Sport's Package, Navigation, Black ext w/ Black interior. With the criteria I mentioned above, it's nearly impossible to find a match even if color is not a priority, that's why the dealership pretty much told me I'll have to custom order it.

I am told that normally when you customize a car you pretty much can't expect to apply the same kind of bargaining method you would with a car that's already in their lot. So am I out of luck and simply just pay the MSRP or even more? Does the dealership pretty much have the upper hand in this case and I have no power in bargaining to reduce it close to invoice?

I heard internet sales are pretty much the way to go now a days, but I had the dealership search all over and can't find a match within any inventory in California (where I live). So in this case, how do anyone bargain for something they don't have in store to get the best deal? I don't mind flying down to so-cal to pick up the car, but how do i begin in searching for the right place to buy the car?

This is seriously the dream car for me, since it's pretty much around 40K...I much rather be picky and get the one I want.

So if anyone can help me in any way I greatly appreciate!
