I have never liked Mustangs before and will never own one....JMO

But what about that SLR McLaren....
My Mustang was a great car that never gave me any problems. What did he do to the trans that voided the warrenty on it?

I might have the miles wrong....it was about 3 years ago when this happened.....nothing, he was an a$$ for a person (not friends anymore) but he babied it...which he didn't do to his 92 300zx TT and destroyed it....it starting making a clicking noise and then after a few weeks it stopped working....no clue...stopped talking with him soon after...I know he needed back axle work as well. Maybe he was unlucky.....he deserved it

He was only 500 miles out of warranty which I do remember and Ford was bitching and wouldn't help.

But without killing the thread....not everything appears on Carfax...you have to check it over yourself....

Also, check online for complaints about the vehicle or recalls and search at http://www.carcomplaints.com, first hand experiences with issues on specific cars

Worst compliants #16....02 Nissan Altima: Oil Consumption....um, sound familiar???

I could go for a '67 fastback, but that's it.

Car fax is great, more accurate than any other title check company. They are tied in with a lot of body shops and insurance companies. Also, they do have a title guarantee, and if something is wrong they will fix it $$$.
