I'm thinking $30-32 without doing any research.

I'd say closer to 32-33, but the list in that ad is definitely high. It's got 6k mi and that price is probably right around invoice for brand spanking new.

Well, with that, shado is likely a bit closer to what one should expect to pay.

The car in the pic is a Nismo edition -- those are more money.

Check KBB and deduct about 10 - 15% to arrive somewhere around black book (i.e., wholesale) - invoice territory. Always start low and know how high you are willing to go before you walk away. They'll probably call you back anyway...

I don't see nismo as an option anywhere on KBB. Maybe too new to have any data for?

If I were the dealer I wouldn't let it go for under 34.. I'm sure they could find someone to drop 34 on lightly used nismo

Hmm.

Okay... to the OP, go check out the invoice/MSRP price thread and calculate the % increase going from a 2009 base model to a 2009 Nismo.

Go back to KBB, determine the value for a 2009 base model with the listed mileage and options, add the % increase for a Nismo, then deduct another 10 -15% as I suggested to get back to wholesale/invoice territory and start around there as your low bid.

Depending on how long it's been sitting there, you might even start a bit lower than that just to get the conversation going... remember it's going to be two model year's old in a few months...

$36-37k? For a new NISMO 370z? That is very unlikely unless you were family to the dealer or NISSAN.

I think with 5k miles assuming no damage $34k is fair for an 09 NISMO. You might be able to get it cheaper if the seller needs to move it now.

Not at all unlikely...Invoice is $37K and some dealers are going lower (into holdback) to move them... Lou Fusz sells 370's here at invoice all the time..
