2010 Base + Sport pricing question
Hey guys, I've been lurking for awhile now. I have been working with a few dealers over the phone and the "best" price I can get is around $32,6xx + tax and tags. It also includes floor mats. All of these dealers have to get the car in since most dealers have tons of cars with no sport, which is kind of odd. Is this a good price? MSRP is 34,465 give or take. This is with no trade. Anyone know what actual invoice is? I looked at the guide here, but I was told by a few dealers that Nissan adjusts it's invoice pricing 3 times a year to accommodate for inflation. They said my invoice prices were off by quite a bit. Anyway, can anyone give me an idea of what they paid for a similar equipped car?
Thanks. |
Hey amill, i'm in PA as well and went to Eisenhauer Nissan(i'd recommend these guys btw, ask for Nathan, great experience) for my 2010 6 spd base + sport(+ splash guards and floor mats). I paid $31,5xx for it after destination fees, but before tax and tags and was told the invoice on it with destination was around $32k. That invoice apparantly included floor mats + splash guards which I initially didn't ask for, but they threw in for free because they initially told me the car didn't come with them, but when it showed up it had the mats + guards.

Check out New Cars, Used Cars, Car Reviews and Pricing - Edmunds.com too If you haven't. It really helps on comparison.

I just checked usaa's car buying service and they show base + sport with mats at 31923.00 and their price of 30223.00. You need to be a member, but it should give you an idea of what you can get it for. That's with a Philly zip code too

That is how I bought my Z thru USAA. You don't have to pay destination charges either or none of that extra stuff like window edging, etc. |
What price for a 2010 in July?
July '10
I'm looking at '10 model Coupe w/sport pkg. With the 2011 model coming out soon, how much of a discount (off MSRP) can you get a '10 for? Seems to me it would have to be a big discount to cover the depreciation. Whacha think? |

OK, well my car was #27 built for the 2010 model year and the build date was October of 2009, which doesn't include the 6 or so weeks to ship overseas, which meant an end of december/early january date when it arrived at the dealer. I believe this is the same for the 2009 model year.
I'm pretty sure the dealer was either BSing you or he thought you were talking about a 2010. As for the OP, I can get you a platinum graphite 2010 base + sport for ~$30,500 before TTL or Black cherry 2010 base + sport for ~31,500 before TTL. Send me a PM and I will give you more information. |
10s will still be delivered through september. 11s are up in the air, but most likely january. I placd an order for togo and forwarded him all of my emails from Nissan to confirm!
