$5000 market adjustment!
I was just looking at a black on black 370Z Touring with the Sport package at Neil Huffman here in Louisville. Beautiful car. Then I notice the cute little sticker noting the $5000 mark up. They want $42,000 for the car before they start tacking on the TT&L and all their dealer fees. With car sales as horrible as they are right now, you think a dealer would realize that they are lucky to be carrying a brand that is still producing desirable cars and just and sale the thing.

Oh, I did. "Market adjustments" make my blood boil. They should say, "We think we have something special, so we are going to screw you to the tune of: $5000." Every Nissan dealer in the US will have a half dozen to choose from in a month. Greedy bastards!

The Solid Red 6MT Touring/Sport I tested the other day had a $3k markup. I think it came out to $41,995 or something like that. Though who would pay that anyways? If I was ready to buy I'd offer invoice!

Yeah, seriously do not pay over msrp. They should be treating you like a prince when you walk into those dealership doors. Always remember they need to make the sale to you! Either they negotiate or b the **** out!

Yeah, most of the sales people have no clue what they are selling. They just know how to talk. Most of us probably know more about the car than anyone in the dealership.

Give it time...
Dealers will no doubt have to come to the realization that in order to move the 370z, they will have to negotiate. The market will dictate this..very soon. Just wait until Nissan posts their 1st quarter sales figures.

I just got hit with the 5k mark up on long island. All the dealer got from me was a laugh. What I found funny was the car was stickered at 43k and it said 5k markup but it was a touring with no nav. or sport so it really should have said 8k markup lol...
