what should my max price be?
I'm in the process of selling my M3 to buy a Z so Ive been doing some research to get my self prepared. What I'm looking for is a pearl white base+sport with a 6spd manual trans. I have multiple cars so I can wait as long as I need to before I get my Z so my plan is once i'm ready to buy talk to my dealer and tell them bottom line what car I want and for what price, I will show them my loan application has been approved for that amount from my bank and for them to call me when they have the car i'm looking for and I will close the deal that day. So my question is this and its an important one, what amount do I tell them is my max number? Thanks for the help everyone and I look forward to joining the Zcar family!:driving:

'09 - I wouldn't go any higher than $2000 below invoice
'10 - I wouldn't go any higher than $500 below invoice With that being said, that is the max price and you have a lot of factors going for you (time and money). I think you should go for these deals: '09 - $2500 - $3000 below invoice '10 - $1500 below invoice http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-p...ice-price.html |
well I found one at a dealer 40miles away they have it listed for 34k what should my max price be?

I can only speak to purchasing an 09, I just wouldnt know about the 2010s. That being said if you look hard enough and dont mind traveling a bit (I drove 150 miles) 2000-3000 below invoice for an 09 is certainly doable.

so would everyone agree that asking 2,000 below invoice seems doable with my situation? also what is the difference in invoice and the price they are offering, this will be the first new car that ive bought so im a little confused with the terminology. what would I be asking for on the Z I found a local dealer that is listed for 34k if i go 2k below invoice? |
