Need Help with Invoice Prices Please
 

Hi,

I have read the 2009/1010 invoice price thread on this forum. The dealership I spoke with, spoke with the general manager, has a different invoice price than what is posted on this thread. Would someone please tell which price is correct? It would be a special order.

2010 Touring Auto: 33,464 or dealer price 33,695
Splash Guards: 165 or dealer price 200
Freight 720 or dealer price 740

I also want the aero pkg., floor mats, and illuminated kick plates. The dealers invoice prices for these three options are the same as those listed on the invoice price thread on this forum.

Splash Guards- $165.00 - Invoice / $220.00 - MSRP
Freight is 740.00 (Invoice as well as MSRP)
Floor Mats $89 - Invoice/ $115 MSRP
Illuminated Kick Plates - $148.00 Invoice / $200 - MSRP

I was looking at the order options sheet you posted on a different thread. The order was placed 2/4/10. So prices and freight charges have gone up since then?

Why does the freight on the base coupe auto you ordered on 2/4 show 720, yet the touring you ordered on the same date has a freight charge of 740? I don't understand.

Also, the dealership I spoke with told me $200 was invoice for splash guards. You said $165. What can I do/show my delaer to prove that the correct price is $165?

I just posted an invoice, that should be enough for you to logically dispute the splash guard price. I guess shipping went up. Don't feel bad, 2010 GTR went up $7,800.00 in price over the 2009. I wouldn't sweat over $20.00.

I see 2 touring Z's coming in May and one has a Freight of 720 and the other 740. Sounds like the shipping did go up. And they are identical builds.

Thanks Lou. Do you have a March or April invoice you would be able to post that has splash guards as one of the options?

Does Nissan raise their Z prices very often throughout the the year? I was suprised to see an increase in the touring already this year since the price did increase from '09 to 10.

They do it sometimes. But no I don't have a March/April Invoice. I was allocated 24 Z's in Feb for May Delivery. So I won't see another allocation until summer.

Can you order a car anytime or do you only get one day a month to place an order?

Technically you can only order the first week of the month.
