Default $28100 for a 2010 base

I came across a dealership that will honor this price. Its a 2010 base model though. Any reasons why I should not buy a base model. I can always upgrade the suspension and wheels myself not a problem. Supposedly this is $700 BELOW invoice. Truecar has this as a great buy.

No not really, base is probably the purest of all of the models. Have fun and that is a great price.

thats a damn good price bud, either at invoice or a little less is always good, and this meets both, jump on it ASAP. If the SRM is a big deal to you than sure, but if not, and you plan to mod the car a bit, change the wheels out, the base is the best option.

IDK, the limited slip is probably the biggest reason to get the sport package. If you are just going to drive it normal and never plan to track, you are probably good.

No way man, that garbage Viscous shyts out after one hot lap, use the search and you will find the threads. The big sell on the SP is the SRM/Brakes/Wheels. Why do you think everyone that is tracking the car replaces it? If you want an LSD, replace it ASAP with a 1.5 way, love my Carbonetic. Also, with the base, the LSD bolts right up, when you replace the SP VLSD, you have to order additional side shafts for $200, screw that.

A few examples:

"Trey Cobb had not been on a race track in four years and was forced to battle difficult oversteer issues in the Nissan 370Z due to a failing stock rear differential. Despite the vehiclular handicap, he continued to push the car to its limits and picked up 21 valuable championship points with a seventh place finish."

haha no way bro! the SP for the money is the best deal goin, hell even w/o the LSD, 3k is still a bargain for all that you get. But i'm pretty much old fashioned when it comes to sports cars, I didnt think I needed the SRM, knew the brakes/wheels would be swapped out within a year, and the VLSD i've had on previous cars taught me one hell of a lesson, avoid them at all costs.

Haha, funny story, the car I test drove was a SP, the salesman didnt tell me about the SRM, and when I went to downshift and blipped the throttle, the car damn near jerked sideways because I over-revved it, it was at that point when I realized SRM wasnt for me, lol
