Just FYI MSRP on the 2010 only went up $60. I imagine invoice couldn't go up any more than that:
FRANKLIN, Tennessee — Nissan on Thursday said its base 2010 370Z Coupe is priced starting at $30,710, including a $720 destination charge, reflecting a modest $60 bump over the 2009 model. Nissan has still not announced pricing on the 40th-anniversary package of the 370Z, which is coming in the spring. The 2010 370Z Coupe is on sale now. Nissan said pricing on the 40th-anniversary package will be announced closer to the car's on-sale date. That package bundles red leather-appointed and synthetic suede seats and red door panel inserts; 40th-anniversary seatback embroidery, floor mats, car cover and exterior badging; premium smoke-finish wheels and red brake caliper finish and a "40th Quartz" exterior paint color. The redesigned 2009 370Z Coupe started at $30,650, including a $720 destination charge. Changes for the 2010 model year include an enhanced navigation system and the addition of heated mirrors and in-cabin microfilter, as well as one new optional exterior color: Black Cherry. That special paint adds $500 to the bottom line. For 2010, the top-of-the-line Nismo 370Z starts at $39,910, including shipping. Expect to pay $1,850 for a hard-drive-based navigation system, $650 for an aerodynamics package and $850 for Nismo performance brake pads for the 2010 model year. Inside Line says: Nissan holds the line on 2010 370Z Coupe pricing, following a major design overhaul for the 2009 model year. — Anita Lienert, Correspondent Link to Edmunds: Priced: 2010 Nissan 370Z Coupe |

Nissan has done everyone a favor who is buying a 2010. The Yen/Dollar conversion is brutal.
For comparison purposes, a 2010 Yamaha R1 is $900 higher than a 2009 Yamaha R1. No updates have been made to the vehicle for 2010, it's essentially the same.

You're welcome. I am glad these threads are helping 370Z buyers everywhere. Also, by making these invoice threads, I learn many info that I haven't learned already (for example, you can ONLY add sports package to Touring Roadster NOT base, the new Nismo brake pads option added to ONLY sports pack 370Zs or the lack of spare tire in roadster etc). I do enjoy learning and helping out our fellow Z enthusiasts.

2009 price from dealer
Ok guys so here's the scoop im 19 years old and am having my dad cosign the lease. I went into the dealership yesterday to get a price quote from the dealer. I am trading in my 2005 acura tsx and they are giving me 7800$ it has about 77k miles on it. I am also putting another 5k down on the car. Total 12,800k.
Now heres the kicker after I reviewed the invoice pricing which everyone is talking about. The car is a 2009 touring model with sport and A/T. Now at this rate my payments would be roughly 435$ a month. His adjusted selling price is 38, 310$! Invoice is only 35,724$! so does this mean im paying like 2300 over invoice for this car? this is excluding ttl and they have to ship it over from california to az. I also noticed something on the sheet of an assignment fee for 595$ wats this? Also there is a 500$ vehicle markup and it is a 2009 wat is this? any help would be great! this doesnt seem like a good deal. I really would like some feedback as I would prefer to get this car before the new year so the payments dont go up in january becuase of the residual value. |

Are you buying or leasing? You mention lease in your first sentence so just making sure.
Those two extra "fees" are BS fees and you need to fight them, also is the 38,310 the out the door price or is that before TTL?

I would print out the invoice price with the options you want with a total at the bottom, hand it to him/her and say this is what I want to pay (before TTL). Do not be afraid to haggle or even walk away, at this point I would almost say you should be paying under invoice if you are buying the car.
