Persimmon Leather!
 

I just ordered my 370Z today and I am SOOOOOOO GLAD the dealer I went to had a 350Z with Persimmon Leather on it because it did not look good at all to me in actual sunslight. It looks MUCH different than in any of Nissan's pictures. In my opinion, it is too light/bright of a color, and it would maybe only look ok on a black car. In any case, the salesman verified it was the same color code as the Persimmon on the 370Z....both are actually a color known as "burnt orange".

So, here's what I ended up getting for $1000 under MSRP:
Pearl White
Touring w/ Black Leather
Sports Package
Illuminated Kick Plates
Carpeted Floor Mats

I know I could have done better on the deal but, honestly, I feel great about what happened today because the salesman saved me from ordering an interior that I would have hated.

So I guess when that other dealer refused to order you a Persimmon interior...

Yeah you could of did better on the deal- most definitely.

But the plus was having what appears to be a much nicer and better salesperson than the dealer that refused to order you a Persimmon interior.

Congratulation....I guess you'll be getting sooner than ordering White/Persimmon combination.

Congrats. I'm glad you got what you wanted and not have to regret gettting the Persimmon. Maybe you could have got a better deal, but sometimes having to pay a little more but having a good dealer experience outweighs the extra dough. That is why I bought 2 Toyotas in 2 years from a Toyota salesman. I got decent deals, but the salesman treated me very well both times. Unfortunately for him he doesn't work for Nissan since I'm getting my Z probably next year. lol

Personally I love the Persimmon leather. I am picking up my 370z touring in about two weeks. I ordered Monterey Blue w/ Persimmon leather. Sport and nav packages as well. The car came in a few weeks back and I went to see it. IT LOOKS EVEN BETTER IN PERSON!! The Persimmon leather really sets the blue off. If you ask me the Persimmon makes the car look much more exotic. I can't wait!!!!!!

in the Z, it's a super fine touch of elegance....ha

Congrats!!!!!! Back in 2005 I was very close to ordering a Black w/Burnt Orange Grand Touring Coupe. I was in love with the color combo. :woot:

I once owned a 98 MKIV Toyota TT Supra with a tan interior; the car I just ordered was Black with the Grey leather interior. I guess I am covering the full gamut of colors. :p

I ordered White with Persimmon and it is coming in May.
