Advice from some pros. Im not sure what is fair pricefor this situation?
I can get a 6-speed 2010 touring with sport for invoice near by. There is also a black and a blue 2009 6-speed touring with sport near by. I would like to scoop up the 2009s for a great price, but I am not sure what I should be looking to pay. What do you think is the best price I will get on the 09s considering the 10s have been out for a few months. I know for a fact that the blue 09 has been sitting for over a year easy. What do you think? Help!

you should be able to get the 09 for under invoice, not a ton, but some. assuming they are diff colors I would go with the color you like best. There are some small differences between the 09 and 10 like an in car air filter and a key fob that has a Z on it instead of Nissan but nothing really serious.
p.s. I'm not a pro so an actual pro may say different... |

How Much Under Invoice for a 2009 ?
^ check that thread out for 2009 models. You should really be getting around $2k below invoice on 09s. As far as 2010 models go, there are a few threads on the boards, but they aren't really good threads specific to touring w/ sport package. Regardless, right now they are not moving very many Z's (a lot has to do with the fact that its still winter). I would say a fair price would be $500 below invoice, but recently people have been doing even better than that on 2010 models. |

Go with the 2009, you should be able to get a very good deal, even more likely if its been sitting on the lot for over a year. I was able to get my blue 2009 Touring/Sport W/O Nav in November for $500 below invoice so you should be able to do MUCH better than that with the 2010s out. Good Luck

I knew it was to good to be true. The dealer was trying to jerk me around. I called him back to let him know I would be taking off work on monday to pick it up. He then acts like he didnt understand what OTD meant. Just another bull crap encounter. Guess Ill check with the other dealer now and see what they can do on the blue one they have.
