Help me with my order!

Ok, so i've received a call from a local dealer who will assist me in ordering using Robert's VPP program. I'm going to order black/touring/sport/nav/6MT Out of curiosity, i asked the dealer if i could have Nismo parts installed on the touring model; he said just tell me what you want and you can order it!

So my question then is the Nismo Suspension Stabilizer Kit worth it? And what about the Nismo strut kit? (but i think i'll eventually be lowering the car so maybe no strut kit????) Also, how about the Nismo cat back exhaust? Worth it? or save the money for a Stillen?

Thanks

I say get the stabilizer kit, pass on the exhaust and struts. Oh and get the Nismo Wheels!

You can get nicer wheels for less. Nismo's are about 900-1000 a wheel.
I think there are better options out there than Nismo...IMO

but the stabilizer kit is a good idea? Nismo brakes?

NYBladeZ 02-24-2010 02:09 PM

Nismo brakes are the same as sport package brakes. Unless you are planning on going with a full suspension kit after delivery, the stabilizer option sounds good. If you can get the Nismo wheels for cheaper than was Fusz quoted then I'd get it.

ok, so i'll go with the stabilizers....gonna pass on the wheels 'cause i've already set my mind on other wheels ;)

Are the stabilizers worth it? I don't see too many people going with that mod...

IMHO not worth the money if you're going to change things, you're better of getting items that work well together.

Now if all you want is some factory parts and leave it at that, it might be worth it.

Robert Nash emailed me today confirming my disappointment. The VPP program he described requires that a sale be completed by 3/31. If you order a car it won't meet that deadline. I'm in the same situation.

Wouldn't you think if Nissan wanted to boost sales bad enough in this terrible economy, they would qualify an order with a deposit, especially considering how few '10 cars are sitting in inventory, especially roadsters?

It would be nice, but unfortunately it doesn't work that way. Everything has to be reported sold in the nissan system before the deadlines. Nothing carries over or is honored for orders. It's this way on every program and incentive Nissan has.

Can't you get another VPP# once it expires??? It shouldn't be a problem getting another one if you're a Nissan employee, affiliate employee, extended family & friends or business associates.

Not with the numbers Robert is giving out. He's usually limited to the number he can give out but with this promotion he can give out as many as he wants.
