Hmm, I don't see why you couldn't but I don't have first hand experience. I am planning to use VPP to order from factory.

I don't believe so - I think for business associate purchases, you have to be employeed directly by the company (ie. doesn't work for friends and family and have to be actively employed - can't even be a contractor...). - I could be wrong.

I purchased my G VPP and doing the same with the 370 as well, both preorder. Very simple process. Print your claim form and take it to the dealership, you drop a deposit and they order the car. What I have had both dealers do is find a similar optioned vehicle via search and use that vehicles vin for prepricing purposes just to give me a ball park since the true vin of the preorder car is not yet known. When the vehicle arrives you close on the deal as you normally would. In all honesty on some vehicles you can do better than VPP but on new releases it eliminates all of the negotiation as it is a prenegotiated price. And, since I really hate the going back and forth aspect of this process it really works for me. Not the very best deal but a better deal than anyone can get with no negotiation right off the street. Review all aspects of the VPP website and it should answer all of your questions. Make sure you click on business associates at the top and the incentives login/password is "vendor" for both. Happy shopping.

Here is what the final numbers sheet looks like for a fully loaded 6MT touring will all available options.

Had a sales guy claim on the phone that the 370Z and GT-R aren't covered by the VPP program. Guess I'll find out soon enough, if my HR department ever figures out what our company code is.

Yes, GTR is NOT covered by the VPP but 370Z should be.

Guess and should be? The 370 is eligible, case closed Although, acceptance of the program is at dealer discretion. If your dealer wont honor it find another dealer. Voivod, have your HR department call the VPP support center for their company code.

Likewise for my HR department. There is no one there who is "in charge" so it will take a little effort but well worth it!

If one Z was sucessfully purchased this way, then there is no reason why we can't find a participating dealer!

Just so everyone knows, it is up to the dealer to honor the VPP or not. Two (Feldman Imports - don't bother going here, and Luther Nissan) of the 4 dealerships here in the city of Minneapolis have declined to accept it.
I am working out a deal with the guys at Walser and did mention that there might be more from the forum who might be interested, so if we do end up with a good deal, then I'll post it on the forum.

Update: So the dealership "Feldman Imports" had a change of heart, and called me back asking what they could do to earn my business. I need VPP on my touring + sports + nav, while I won't pay more than 32k for the 2nd base + sports. Although, I didn't get my wish, but $38k for the full spec'ed touring sports nav version, while $32,450 for the base + sports.

It depends on your "plan"
There is a A. Plan, B. Plan, C. Plan, and D. Plan.
Most companies are D plans that are available to the claim number holder and their spouse. In order to have someone else use their VPP number they MUST be attached onto the paperwork for the purchase.

The GTR is not a VPP vehicle, nor if it was do I think any dealer would sell it as a VPP vehicle.
If you have a hard time getting a claim number I can assist you. I have a hardline that I can generate on from.

So, VPP is for people that work for the dealerships?
