In his defense, he was asked specifically about the availability of such pricing at his dealership. I guess a PM would have been more fitting, if forum rules were to be followed.

I have the check in my hands for sponsorship. I'll stay away for a few days until it is received by AK. Sorry. Am I being set up, though?

Once I receive the check, I'll set up your section and update your s/n status. Until that, Fusz (other sponsoring dealers) will have final word here.

Holy crap. I didn't know this kind of hostility was allowed, Especially from a forum sponsor. I honestly can't believe the admins actually allow this kind of language from one person/sponsor to another. Also can't believe not one person spoke up about this. Unbelievable.

Thanks for this! I work for JPM Chase and found the VPP details easily on my HR page this morning.

+1 rep for the OP.

Cheers!

Quote:
Dealer invoice
Minus VPP discount (Nissan 2.87% : Infiniti 1.65%)
Plus dealer added options, Security Plus, Infiniti Extended Protection Plan, etc.
Plus 2.5% delivery fee of dealer invoice after VPP discount has been subtracted
Plus destination and handling charge
Minus applicable incentives
Equals participant's purchase price
I don't get it, the bolded items seem to be the only real features of this VPP pricing. So it comes out to be (1-.0287) * 1.025 = .9956 * Invoice price. So you get a 0.44% discount. Am I missing something here?

Most people don't get to buy cars below dealer cost. Which is invoice.

But there are 4 levels of VPP.
A-D plan. Most of you are D plan which will come out to about 100 over invoice.

When you are a direct employee of Nissan, you are A plan, that is when you get a great discount.

I think the real benefit is not having to jump through hoops to get a price. You get to walk in with a VPP # and get invoice in seconds. How is that a bad deal?
