Ok guys... last ditch effort here trying to get VPP, since both of my previous sources are retired now, and Nissan won't honor anything through them. Grrr.
If anyone can help out, shoot me a PM. :tiphat: |
Can any of the sponsoring Nissan dealers give me an approximate indication of what percentage of discount the A-Plan gets you? A local Nissan dealer is hiring. Do you need to be full time to qualify for the A-Plan price?
If you prefer to send reply as a PM that would be great. Thanks! |
You must be employed by a dealer for more than 1 year to get A-plan, which is 1500 below invoice. Less than 1 year gets you 150 below invoice!

Is VPP Still Functioning in Mar/Apr 2013?
I've been quiet here for a while -- just enjoying my 09 PWP/touring w/ persimmon seats, now getting close to 40K. It was disappointing to see the salesman who helped me with the VPP in 2009 was now retired. That dealer (Windsor Nissan) was across the state, and now I only know one guy in Service. Pretty far to go, if I'm too lazy to do my own oil change. :0
So I'm looking and contemplating a 2013 upgrade with the same exact car. Color and everything. And why not? -- this Z has been flawless for me. The only change since I picked it up was putting on Continental DWS rubber at 17K, and ever since, the car's been better than new. So: is VPP working? Should I use overstock.com? Can I still get a good price on a new Z, which has only the front LED strips and in-cabin filters to distinguish itself? Should i just detail this car and sell it, then approach all dealers as equals? Advice appreciated! |
Just purchased using VPP
Used Nissan's VPP plan D for Military yesterday to purchase my Z. Found the Z I wanted at a dealer an hour and half away, sent them my VPP number, they sent me back the price. I drove down and picked it up 3 hours later.
FYI. I bought a 2014 370Z w/ sport package in gun metallic. Additional options included floor mats, trunk mat, backup camera in rear view mirror, illuminated door sills, and splash guards. Price was $32,900 + tax, tags/registration, dealer fees. I had a trade in (got more than $700 over blue book value on the trade in ) so tax was only applied on the difference of the trade in and the new Z (saved another $1k ). Also, I transferred the tags from the trade which saved another couple hundred bucks. Not a bad deal since Nissan isn't offering any rebates/cash back offers on the new Z's. PS - I love the car. |
Has anyone used VPP pricing with any dealerships in southern California? Any advice?
I was thinking about purchasing a 2014 370z 6mt with sports package, premium floor mats, illuminated kicks, splash guards! I wanted to contact a few dealerships and see if anyone can go lower than VPP pricing to earn my business :rofl2: |
