I'm sure it does look fine now. In fact, they called me a few days later still trying to sell it to me. I told them I had already bought one from somewhere else and I wouldn't be interested even if I hadn't. I can't be bothered with diminished value straight off the lot.
I'd be curious to see if they would admit there had been a repair if you asked them. |

LOL...i just bought a black Z with Sport package in MD and first thing that came to mind was..Great..I probably just bought that car and missed the defects somehow. Good news is, the VINs are different and after a good detailing today, the paint is spotless.
Scared me though.... |

Yikes, good thing you took a good look and caught it. I was afraid of the same thing when I got my black Z and had to look it over probably four times at the dealer before even getting in to test drive it. At first, it did appear there were wierd marks on the passenger rear wheel arch, but it turned out to just be dry wax dust. Having said that, there was dry wax build up on every edge...

So, I looked at the car yesterday.
No damage, at all. No repainting done. No signs of wet sanding. I looked it over with a fine tooth comb, and I used to detail cars for a dealership. Looked at it with my polarized sunglasses (works AMAZING on black) - not a single imperfection. I now own the most infamous car on here :-p |

What for? No deal to be cut if theres no damage. I paid invoice pricing + $500 since they were doing me a favor with my other vehicle. I dont mind throwing a dealership a little extra cash if they arent being ******** to me, and they were great to deal with. |

Honestly, its a great car - I wouldnt have done it if I even REMOTELY suspected it was foul. Best part was, they straight up told me that if I felt gun shy on it, they'd get me another one just like it just so I'd be happy. I certainly couldnt complain about their service, thats for sure. |
