2010 Nismo 370z price question

Was offered 37500, put t/t/t for a 2010 Nismo white 370z. Was wondering what you guys thought about this deal was aiming for 37,000 but got to this price. Seems pretty good to me.

Depending on the accessories, their price still seems few hundred over invoice. There isn't any reason you should not be able to get invoice or lower...even for a 2010...even for a NISMO. Don't let them give you the "limited edition" speech because in this economy it doesn't matter. Nobody is buying. Many dealers and others tend to assume "limited edition" automatically means "in demand" which is nowhere near the case.

Seems like a decent price, but I think you should be able to do even better. I've seen some 09 Nismos selling for well below invoice. Depending on options the 2010 Nismo invoice should be less than 37K.

And I agree don't let the dealer give you that "Limited Edition" stuff. Although it doesn't seem that they are given what they are offering.

That's a good price.

This is what I got off Edmunds with the options they have listed. Is the erroneous information from them?

So basically Im under the factory invoice but there still making about 1,000 on the car. Hmm seems like 37,000 would be perfect. Any thoughts from the more experienced car buyers? This will be my first new car purchase at age 28 (bout to be 29).

I don't think Edmunds adjusted since the recession started. Do that breakdown for almost any car and you should be able to do well below what Edmunds shows. They are way high right now.

I was just going based off invoice. I wouldnt pay what others pay, Im just seeing invoice of ~37600. Im just curious how much into holdback you can get away with cutting into.

I wouldn't pass up the car of my dreams for a few hundred bucks. Why not split the diff with the dealer and call it a day?

Edmunds is a guide, that's all. Just like KBB, NADA, ect..ect...ect..

So test drove a red 09 nismo today... awesome! Didnt notice lack of leather/nav etc. like I do looking online. The thing had 121 miles on it though which I thought was crazy. NO way I can trust it never topped 4K. Was amazed at how well this thing shifted, never cared for the clutch, gears in any 350z I drove always felt like a semi. We are looking at an ice storm all weekend but I think the white one will have to come home with me next week. Also insurance is only going up 74 a month which is less than I thought it would.

Do it. I am sure that you will be thoroughly satisfied if you get it. I know I will be when I pick mine up. Sad thing is that I have to wait until I get back to the States, grrrrrrr.
