Advice for buying 09 touring
Ok Im looking at an Black 09 Touring 6 spd with nav for $39000. It already has 200 miles on it and the dealer still consider it as new. Im currently in Panama City, FL right now and they dont have the black touring that I want. So they said they can drive over to Atlanta and drive the car back which will bring the car up to 500ish miles when it returns to FL.
The $39000 is the OTD price including tax and everything. They also have a life time warranty on unlimited miles and time. Is this a rip off price for the car? I mean when I buy a new car it usually has 5-6 miles on it or less. He told me the technicians were probably testing the car to make sure that its good and everything. I think this is BS as there is no need for such testings on a new car. What do you guys think I should do? If its 39k I should might as well wait for an 2010. It would probably be the same price or so. |

Nissan does test a few cars here and there, but nothing more than 50-60 miles. 200 sounds like a dealer trade or a test drive vehicle.
It is still new, never title technically, but it's whatever you are comfortable with. About the price, what is it with out tax and titling fees. I guess what I am saying is a better breakdown would help determine if it's a good deal or not Sale Price Taxes Title Fees Dealer Fees Transport fees,,,,,ect.... |

Anyways, it came down to buy a "new" Z with 200ish miles or so because they have to drive it from another state back to their dealer for the brand new car price. Will be delivered within 24-48 hours. Or order straight from Japan which will be a bit more expensive and could take up to a month or so. Mileage of this car of course will be around 1 or so. I dont like the idea that some guy driving the car im buying from state to state just to get it delivered. I dont know if he was recklessly driving the car or not. I cant get over that. |

^^guys when you're comparing prices you really have to clarify if that was your out the door price like the OP did. It's really hard to compare if not. A salesperson will rarely tell you the out the door/off the lot price unless you specifically ask for it.
A sales guy will tell you "X" but if you talk further you'll find that usually that means "X" + all sorts of misc fees and then taxes, etc......makes a huge diff. |

I think you should be able to haggle a bit more. It's a 09 left over after all.
I just picked up a blue 09 Touring (no nav or sport package) for 31k out the door. Local dealer has to compete with a CarMax that has rock bottom pricing on 09's. |
