Buying 09 or 10?

I saw a similar thread a couple weeks back but now couldn't find it. My apologies.

I'm debating whether I should get a great deal on a 09 instead of buying at invoice on a 10.

This one dealer is willing to give me $31,000 on a 09 base coupe auto sports. But i have to pay invoice for a 10.

The only reason i'm hestitating to buy 09 because i think on the 10, they might fix some of the problems from the 09 like hot oil temp, squeaking car seats, etc. but then I couldn't find any resources where they actually fixed these problems on a 10. I'm sure there are other problems as well.

Buying a 10 may save me about $1500, but that's not worth it if Nissan hasn't fixed these problems yet.

Does anyone know?

I think you are thinking too much into the problems, the cars are very similar

i'd personally get the 09 and use the saved money for wheels, mods, etc

I waited till 2010 to come out because I wanted the updated NAV system, but the deals I've been passing up on for the 2009 fully loaded....man o man, they're sooo tempting....other than the nav...essentially they're the exact same car. So if NAv isn't a big deal for you....I'd get the 2009. Good luck!

The oil temp issue is not solved on the 2010 as the oil cooler has not changed. Either way, its not as big of a deal as initially thought by many unless you track the car.

Whats the best deal a person can get on an 09' right now? How much below invoice? If the deal is solid, I may jump on that as well instead of picking up a 10'
