Did I overpay?
Hey everyone, I decided it was time to get back in the saddle;
long story short its a 2011 touring sport (no nav or backup) 6mt with 23k miles, I paid 23500 otd, they originally wanted 25OTD. I've been out of the z market for a while so not sure how I did, either way already pulled the steering lock fuse and going to set money aside for tires. thanks |

just hoping my CSC won't **** the bed for a while. I know its a buyer market but a touring/sport is hard to come by, most are either touring or spots but not together. |

Yep that's what it boils down to. As long as YOU feel you received good value for your dollars nothing else matters much.
Beyond that it's difficult to compare against what others paid as car prices tend to vary substantially geographically. |

Well there's only one Touring Sport for sale in my area, 2013 under 15k miles, has the nav and backup camera. Already has some bolt-ons. In American dollars, it's about $28,000 on the road. So, I think, by comparison, you're in the ballpark for sure.

Depends on market as well as time and area. Through a dealer it's not bad at all imo.
I've seen Sport models go for that much with more miles, and I've seen newer ST packages go for about that price. Latter shouldn't be a real metric to work off of. It's just luck because an owner or dealer needs to move a car. Sounds cliche, but the TrueCar metric ain't so bad. |

I think you got taken, but like others said: If you're enjoying it, don't look back. Deal is done, just have fun with the car now.

That's about what I paid for my 2010 w/ Sport Pkg.
Mine was a CPO so, it came w/ a warranty up to 100K mi or thru Feb. 2017. Glad I got the warranty, already used it for a brand new trans (after 5th gear syncro went) & csc fix.

23500 out the door with taxes and license doesn't sound ridiculous. What is the taxes and license cost in Florida?
Probably means you paid about 21k to 22k plus tax? Last edited by Justint5387; 01-23-2017 at 07:01 PM. |
