11 370Z 23k mi, Only 18k good deal?
So I've been looking for a Z for a while and I think I found a good one! Its a 2011 with the sport package configured jus t how I was looking. Low mileage I think, 23k doesn't seem like a lot, 2 owners according to the CarFax, though they said it was a one owner in their email, and the Carfax checks out clean also. I emailed the dealer, I'm in Indiana and they're in New Hampshire, and they told me upon purchase, the car has a courtesy 36 month/100,000 mile warranty from their dealer which also includes 24 hour roadside assistance, travel breakdown coverage and rental car coverage, plus it passed their 125 point inspection. Is this a good deal? I feel like I'm getting a steal for the price! I haven't seen it in person yet but I have family in NYC that can check it out this weekend. Feedback would be appreciated!

Looks pretty good and clean to me... if it drives well.
Test drive it if possible. Multiple times. If the clutch and tranny check out, then I say go for it. I paid about 1.5K more for my '09 earlier this year with just slightly higher miles (though mine is the Touring/Sport, not just Sport). If I'd found yours at the same time, I would have had a very tough choice. |

Sounds like a good deal indeed; this one is a Base Sport (cloth seats, manual seat adjustments, no seat heater, base stereo, etc.). I bought my '11 Touring Sport with 26k miles for about $3-4k over that number in April this year. I use three books to determine values (KBB, NADA, & Edmunds), check those and then decide.

There's one issue, I personally can't drive the car with work and the fact that it is located 985 miles away from me. Would it be a bad idea to buy the car based on pictures and what the dealer tell me?

That's up to you. I've done it several times. Just be very thorough with the dealer and do video walk arounds. Looks like a good deal
