i had the same color with my altima before i drove the rsx (black)
and quite honestly its not the prettiest color out there but definitely doesnt cost as much to keep clean if u know what i mean. i could go a month or two without a car wash on my silver altima but can barely go a week without it on my rsx. that fact alone is making me want the silver more now lol |

One of the salesmen at Power Nissan in Torrance implied to me that they knew the 370's were going to be selling well, and that they would rely on that rather than mark them up. I wonder if Gardena Nissan is going to mark them up like Carson, or use Torrance's strategy.

FYI Santa Monica Nissan has 3 or 4 Zs on the lot - all of them are tourings, the only MT on the lot is a non sport (I was told they got a shipment by mistake and were scheduled to get any until next month). Didn't look like they were marking them up since the salesman didn't mention anything about it and the cars just had MSRP stickers.

If your car is in good shape, sell it yourself, then deal on the color and equipment you want with cash in your hand.
You will come out way ahead in $$ saved. A trade is only a good idea if you know your car has, ahem, "issues" you would rather not deal with in selling the car yourself. |

I have sold several cars easily myself, usually within a couple of weeks- but none for a year or so. |

Plus 1 on the private sale of vehicle issues... I've been trying to sell my rare lincoln blackwood mint with 64K miles and Carmax, et al are offering me 65 cents on the dollar for it. Truck is paid for, so I'm tempted to just keep the thing... I think that at least till I drive by the Nissan dealer!!

I actually thought about selling it myself but the fact is who would want a used car in this economy when they can get a new one for almost the same price?
