Pricing! Help me! Help you!
Hey all,
Been a long time member and lurker and light poster. Unfortunately... I have to sell my beautiful 370z. BUT I need some help on selling Here are the specs: 2014 Auto Magnetic Black 370z Base with low miles of 17K miles Maintained well! Fast Intentions Exhaust installed. Carbon Fiber. Non-resonated. $1560 w/o installation cost. Shine Auto Amuse Kit Front/Back Bumper installed. $1385 w/o installation cost. 1. Should I sell my car all together? Or put back factory stuff and sell? 2. How much is my car worth with these components? Lastly, anyone interested!!! Last edited by gouda-buddh; 07-27-2015 at 10:05 PM. |

Lol. Maybe if you were selling it a couple of months ago. Love the red color on my Z though so...totally fell in love with her. You should try to sell with the aftermarket parts and see what happens.

You won't get what you paid for the parts unless you find the right buyer.
Best advice, return to stock, sell car, sell parts separately.

You'll be luck to get 50 cents on the dollar for you mods. That's why people part out their cars before sale. Plus lenders typically do not value aftermarket car mods when underwriting loans so it can create issues for potential buyers.
At the very least, I sell your FI CBE separately and then add maybe $1,500 over the KBB for your body kit. Just my two cents. |

Nope.
If you are trying to recoup the most money and have OEM parts still laying around, put them back on and sell the exhaust and body kit separately. If your time is worth more to you than the money you might recoup, then it is probably not worth it to you to swap parts and sell the mods separately.

Parting out aftermarket parts is always a good thing to do as long as you aren't spending the money you get on selling the parts for buying oem parts to trade the car in.
Let me know if you do decide to take the parts off of the Z and sell them, interested in both the body kit and exhaust, we can talk about price after pictures

Typical bolt ons are usually easily removed.
The exhaust may be challenging if it's been on a long time and you're in the snow belt. My exhaust has been on for 3 years now. No way am I even going to try to remove it it. Some connections may come apart but the main connection at the cats will require a torch. If/when I sell the car, the exhaust goes with it

Sell aftermarket parts and return back to stock..then sell me your exhaust ..no but seriously your better off because it will devalue your car with aftermarket stuff. The cars worth whole lot more with OEM parts..but seriously tho sell me your FI Exhaust

If he doesn't want to take the time to take out the aftermarket and go back to OEM then it shouldn't matter. He just wants to know the price he should realistically going to get with the aftermarkets on and without. But if you find the right buyer and he/she likes the aftermarket stuff on it then you might get most of your money back without the install cost.
