I want to acknowledge Maroone Nissan of Ft. Lauderdale for their AWESOME service, especially Locksley Thorpe who accepted my email offer and finalized everything through email in under 2 hours. It was the smoothest dealer experience ever. If you live in South Florida and are looking for a Z, go to Locksley. The experience was very quick and painless, even for a dealership. If you do, tell them I sent you and they send me $100 if you buy!

I ended up getting the car (2009, base manual, white, sport pack., floor/trunk mats, splash guards) for invoice, getting more than I anticipated for my trade, and even getting 4.99% financing, better than my local bank at 5.25%! I highly recommend this dealer.

I also want to thank the rest of the board members for posting their prices and how they got the best deal! I learned quite a but and was able to make the most of this purchase.

Just FYI, with new car, a dealership always offer lower interest rate than a bank since they want to sell their cars. And 4.99% is often offered to a decent credit score buyer so it's not really the lowest.
But congratulation on your purchase!

My dealer went from 4.99% to 4.05%, to 3.99% in the matter of 2 hours. Every time it was, "this is the best we can do!".

I have superb credit, but I'm only 21, so 4.99% is pretty good in my book, but I'm sure people can get lower.

Your deal is all that matters. There's always gonna be somebody that payed 5 bucks less than you and got a .5% better rate. :)

GJ being responsible at 21. I'm 26 and I'm sure glad that I started being responsible around that age. Good credit and having your finances in good shape have limitless value.

thank you Matt! i thank my parents for guiding me and teaching me about the importance of managing your finances and the importance of good credit. having good credit is so damn important, but many people dont realize just how much.
