Stealership told me this didn't apply to the Nismo. Were they telling the truth?

They lied.

The Nismo is listed as "COUPE 370z NISMO", meaning it falls under the 'above-noted vehicle' specification

That's what I would think but wouldn't they say "COUPE 370z NISMO" is not the same as "COUPE 370z?"

Presumably by that logic, "COUPE 370z SPORT" and "COUPE 370z TOURING" are also different, though and it only applies to base models?

I guess they could; however, I think the distinction of them saying COUPE 370z would be that there is a ROADSTER 370z as well. But we all know how dealers are

Almost certainly they are incorrect. I suppose it is up to the dealer whether they want to participate and to what degree maybe, but 0% APR on a NISMO when they are offering it on the 370Z Coupe is absolutely do-able.

Would seem counterintuitive certainly. They wouldn't give me the 0% even though even though I'm over 700 on credit. I know Nismos have been sitting from regularly prowling the Nissan web inventory (which I know isn't exactly up date, but showed listing in what I wanted color and accessory wise on at least two separate dealers) and the one I picked was there almost 2 months before I showed up.
