2010 Pricing....can this be true?

So, I ordered a 2010 coup a couple of weeks ago. I was told that they didn't have 2010 pricing but they would let me know when they got it. Based on the changes, I expected a few hundred dollars, maybe $500...but look at the email I got today (below).
This is for a touring, sport, nav, kick plates, and floormats.....
This same car on 09 was just a tick over $40,000.

Can anyone confirm? My first guess is that they priced a Vert, but haven't heard back from the dealer.

Hey Matt,

I am sorry to send you this information. Nissan just sent out the proper pricing to us. MSRP is $46,520 the way you want it built. The VPP Plan pricing is $42,559.36.
I am sorry about this. It is substantially higher and I understand that you may not want to go through with it. Nissan has allowed us to cancel the order (they never do this) probably because they know the predicament that we are in.
Let me know if this works for you if not I understand and please accept my apologies.

SOOOO, I just priced up a convertible and it is exactly the price quoted above....obviously they made a mistake.

Sorry for the alert.

It's as if they haven't sold a car before....

so is the pricing the same for the coupes?

FuszNissan 10-12-2009 07:45 PM

The pricing for 2009 coupe to 2010 coupe should go up like 800.00. That is for a convertible.

BTW.. you can't place an order for a 2010 coupe yet.

They are playing with you. "Nissan allowed us to cancel the order", haha.

they had no idea that they were talking about convertibles all this time, and wont admit their mistake.

My order was placed last month. I was told it will be built mid to late October and delivered early to mid November. I will get confirmation of the build date soon. It shouldn't be different for us Canadians should it? Maybe it's because we are closer to Japan ;).

That is a bit pricey. I ordered a 2010 same Specs minus the nav for 36,206.

So how are these guys coming up with pricing? And how are they ordering coupes?
Nothing is released yet. I am sorry to tell you but they can't order 2010 coupes yet and they have no idea what pricing is yet. Don't shoot the messenger

military autosource. They are using the 2009 prices, i do believe?

It says the ESTIMATED uplift is 1,042.

The added this, then subtracted it at the end of the offer.

Mine was ordered weeks ago based on 2009 pricing with an increase if applicable. They have my deposit and I'm just waiting on confirmation of build and delivery.
