Default 370Z Sport Package

So the almighty Z starts around 30K, however, they say the sport package will cost you an extra 3 grand. This will include bigger rims, better brakes, limited-slip, rear spoiler, and FRONT LIP SPOILER. Most of the pics we see on here are of the 370z with the sport package. I wanna know if anyone has some base model pics. I wanna see what the car looks like without the same front bumper cuz I'm pretty sure there's no such thing. Thanks for posting boys.

The front bumper looks the same on the base model the sport lip is just a little plastic piece on the bumper. Only a trained 370z obsessor would notice this. But just imagine the 370Z with the base 350 wheels (they look similar)
and you have the base model. There are a buch of pics on here somewhere...But I like that its not visually modified with the sport package...this means most of the sport package money you spend is going torwards upgrading the performance of the Z. Hope this helps.

thanks bro, it would still help if anyone has pics to show a difference.. and also I see some Z's with the sport package yet they don't have the rear spoiler (upgraded rims, front bumper, and bigger brakes however are still there).. what's up with that?

my personal opinion is that if your not going to take it to the track
just get the base model w/o the sports package.
itll save you 3000 bucks and ull have enough money to buy aftermarket navi and if you dont like the rims on the base
just purchase new rims on ebay.
im sure there are people out there that doesnt like the rims on the sport package and will be willing to sell it.

I want to get the sport package for the LSD, but like the base wheels/tires more. So if anyone wants to swap let me know... but I won't be buying til may 2010 lol.

I am also considering Sport Pkg but will the LSD yield better straight line performance (0-60) than without?

LSD's are primaraly to improve cornering grip, you won't see much if any improvement in straight line performance.

An LSD also helps with launch. Without LSD, you can spin 1 tire on the launch.

LSD = Limited Slip Differential.

The general limits between the two wheels are 60%/40% allowing one wheel to spin a tad faster when turning corners at low speed without chirping the outside tire. However, when you launch, the 60/40 also plays a roll in making sure BOTH tires receive power. If you're on street tires, you'll find that you pull a peg leg if you don't have LSD. (Or in some mustang cases, WORKING LSD. LOL)

With drag-radials, I blew up my stock LSD on my Trans Am. But on street tire, they should last a while as long as you make sure it's always got oil.

Better traction hopefully means better launch = better 0-60? Hopefully one of the mags will review base vs sports and 7 speed auto.

That's a very good idea but most unlikely!
