You need to clean out your garage. :stirthepot: Your car looks great. I'm about to go through the whole Zaino process on my car. Hopefully mine ends up like that.

haha thanks. i look at that and appreciate seeing my messy garage in my really clean paint. its kind of ironic haha.

i haven't used zaino before. this is with the wolfgang total swirl remover, finishing glaze, and deep gloss sealant.

i'm under the impression that it doesn't really matter what you use (as long as its pretty good) if you just follow the directions, you should get a good result. however, as far as waxing is concerned, i'm SOLD on the sealant. i had it done when i first got the car and it lasted 6 months and it looks amazing. can't argue with that. i like detailing and stuff, but i don't want to wax my car every 2 weeks

Really Jeff? I was just looking at that stuff, well just the sealant really? Are all 3 worth it? What method of application did you use? Applicator pads or a buffer? Let me know!

i used the Portercable 7424xp.
this kit has everything you need except clay. I'm really happy with the products. The kit comes with all the pads, the 2 polishes, detail spray, and the sealant as well as the porter cable itself. I'm happy with the variety in the kit. The swirl remover is very good for removing (duh) swirls, but if you have just VERY light little paint scuffs that you want touch up, i found that after washing, you can just spot clay, use the finishing glaze it gets rid of a lot of stuff. the finishing glaze is basically just a pretty non-abrasive polish.

this is the exact kit i got, and i'm really really happy with it. its great for anything from just touching up a scuff here and there or a full swirl removal. let me know if you have any questions.

Wolfgang Porter Cable 7424 Swirl-Free Kit

that kit also comes with a DVD of how to use each of the polishes/pads with the pc.

and as far as the sealant is concerned, water was still beading heavily on my car even 6 months after my car was detailed (right when i got the car)

My porter cable is wrapped up under the tree (a present from my wife). Polish and seal should be the holiday project if everything goes as planned.

Hey guys - quick queston for my fellow MB owners. What have you been doing to take care of the tiny chips and scratches that are inevitable with this color? I've been contemplating touching them all up my self or professionally, but I'm curious as to what others have done and what the results were. Thanks!

I'm right with you man, with a white undercoat the chips really show too. I'm not sure what others have done, but the langka kit has worked pretty well for me.
