living in city where ppl drive like nut heads. Bump, dings, scuffs, scartches, swirls & hit and runs are too visible on black.
Ohh yea, bird poop burns are ugly as well as rock chips. |

i use to have black civic. shows alot of everything. and this the reason i got silver. still looks clean even if its dirty unless bird craps. less car wash for silver than a black or any other color.

I love black, and currently drive a black car. Just think black on a sports car is just sexy. However, having a black on black interior has bad news when you live in a town who's avg temperature is 2* cooler than satans *** crack, black on black spells im gonna run the AC for 30 mins before sitting in the car. Does anyone else who lives in Phoenix, or SoCal for that matter as well have any thing special they do to help limit the heat as much as possible. i.e. Does window tinting Really help with temps? Or just looks bad ***? lol And I know sun shades yeah got that, but is there anything we can do haha?

press and hold down ur unlock button on your fob. ur windows will roll down letting fresh air in before u ever get in the car. plus ur friends will think its cool.

I lived in Hawaii for 10 yrs and i always got the ceramic based tint on my cars due to the heat. Yes, it makes that much of a difference. The black paint will soak up more heat than say white or silver but tint will save your arse. Literally.

I talked to one of the local Phoenix dealerships yesterday and he said they do Tinting on their cars standard, and it's covered under warranty. But he couldn't tell me to what percentage that one is up to. Does anyone know off hand, or is it just better/cheaper to get it done elsewhere?
My worry is just in Phoenix taking it to Joes auto tinting and getting alot of bubbles or it coming off due to the 130+*F temps we get inside the cars here... And if anyone in Phoenix knows of a good shop and reccomends anyone please feel free to let me know lol. |
