This took 3 gallons, plus about a quart of glossifier.
The calipers were painted from my previous color, so yeah it is in the plans to adjust. |
You should have plastidipped it Pearl White.
|
Great color choice, one of my favorites. If you plan to keep I that way are you going to lower, front lipn more aggressive wheels and different brake caliper color?
The Gram light with the titan lip and maybe purple calipers to match would look good. |
wow that's alot of dip! Wonder how washing the car is going to be like. Looks cool tho. Good job getting it done!
|
call me a hater, but it looks like a wrap job with poor quality wrapping material....
but it makes you happy...... whats the weight of three gallons of plastidip? |

The satin look to the paint does look like a wrap job but it looks like a good job kind of a flat midnight purple... |
I like the color, maybe not the finish. But that would make me think of getting a high quality wrap job in that color!
|
There is a reason that color didn't make the factory color list...flame on.
But props for the balsy move. |
Wait what if someone comes to your car in a parking lot and just takes it all off? Is that possible?
|
Looks cool to me. Do you have macro shot? Want to see the texture.

A full PlastiDip application weighs about 1.5 lbs. There's a youtube vid on the subject. |
