PICS of My Solid Red 370Z
So here they are...and long overdue no doubt.
I have been a member of this great forum since February of this year. I was at that time until the end of May deployed in...You guessed it, good ole Iraq... I first saw a 370z while I was surfing the internet one day back in January, and it was a Nissan add on msn's home page. I couldn’t believe my own eyes on what I was seeing right there before me. That was the beginning of a long and crazy journey that brought me to this very moment in time now... It all started back in June of last year when I was sitting on my brothers porch enjoying a family reunion and flipping through some R&T and Motor Trend mags, mind you we had put a few back...I said to my brother "there’s my next car" as I pointed to the Dodge Challenger, and your getting my 04 Mach1. Off to Iraq I went and that was pretty much the end of that, my mind was made up and the challenger is what I wanted...Then came along the Camaro to jump in the mix around November time frame and all of the sudden it was the Camaro that I wanted...Well a few months went by and I eagerly awaited and read everything I could find on the Camaro and absorbed it all like a dry sponge. Then one day I pulled up msn's homepage as I always do, and low and behold, at first glance I thought I was looking at a Porsche...Second glance turned into a long stare, I must have stared at the Nissan add for more than 45 seconds which doesn’t seem long at all until time stops in its tracks which is what happened to me. I finally snapped out of the daydream that I unwittingly found myself caught up in. I clicked on the Nissan add with my mouse with great anticipation like a child walking into a toys "r" us with my eyes wide open and a smile on my face that went from ear to ear. Its then and only then that I knew without a doubt what my next new car would be...I've since that moment researched to the end of earth and back to learn as much about the new z as humanly possible...I finally got around to ordering the z thru Overseas Military Car Sales (OMCS), whom I've used to purchase my last two new vehicles. I finally made it to the dealership where OMCS delivered my new z and immediately fixated on my solid red 370z sitting in front of the dealership as to say "here I am you! Get over here and drive me now!" I drove it home to my parent’s house which was about 30 miles away, and all I could think of was driving, I became obsessed with the whole experience. I had never in my life felt the freedom that I felt that day driving like I was the only car on the road and not a care or worry in my mind. I felt so invigorated yet so calm at the same time. I could go on and on but its beer thirty and there’s a Cold Shiner in my fridge calling out to me. I have less than five hundred miles on her so far and I have tinted the door winds with ceramic tint 25%, and went with 15% on the quarter panel, and rear windows. I chose to put the 370z sticker on the rear window, in my opinion it looks best there. Oh and yes, my brother is now the proud owner of my 04 MACH1 which still has less than 35,000 miles on it currently. I just want to say also that this forum is awesome and I plan to hang out here for a very long time, there is a great mix of people from all over the world and I learn a little something new everyday by just hanging out. Enjoy the pics, and if you've enjoyed my little story, some reps wouldn't hurt

I saw a red w/sports package that looked just like yours yesterday. Saw Texas, took a shot... I don't normally like red cars but the red 370Z just might make a believer out of me. It is sexy as hell in real life, congrats!

Congrats on the Z, it looks awesome!
Did you get a good deal from the OMCS program? I'm ready to deploy to Iraq with projected PCS orders to Germany next year. I already contacted the Exchange overseas military program in Germany, and the price for a 370Z Base with Sports pkg is a complete rip off: $38,500 "tax free" The price includes an extended warranty ($2,700) since the one that comes with the car is voided in Europe. Someone is making big bucks out of Soldiers. Disgusting... |

Your milquote may be for the 2010 model which I believe has a higher invoice than the 09 model, you need to ask your omcs agent if it is...

lol, you noticed...I'm not sure what it is...I think it may be a combination of the red in the car and the color of my house bricks...I'm no camera expert by any means so I can't say for certainty, however it wasn't intentional.
