Also, any reason you don't have center caps and a Nismo sticker on the spoke? The wheels have an 'unfinished' look about them. At first glance I thought they were some new knock-off wheels form Rota or something. Don't get me wrong, they do look good. It's just I had a friend who was in the same situation with his powdercoated TE37 wheels and everyone just assumed they were fakes. He ended up ordering new Volk stickers (about $100 from Bulletproof :eek:).

Its not too difficult doing two colors, I do the ring first and cure it, then mask off and do the center section.
I attempted to paint the centercaps, and wasn't happy, so I dunked them in acetone to strip off the paint and they softened up and deformed, so I have to order new ones and haven't gotten to it yet.
As for the nismo sticker, I had thought about doing it in an outline, but I like it clean and don't really care if anyone thinks they are knockoffs, but they do say 'Rays Eng' and 'Forged' in raised letters between the spokes on the wheel itself. |
