yeah this color is kinda ho-hum in the shadows, but when the metallic color can be seen... It really looks amazing when it can really shine. You bein in AZ (where I wish I still lived...) you will have many more amazing photos than me. Last edited by madwi; 10-15-2012 at 07:48 PM. |

Did you curb the wheel? Looks like it in this pic.

no thats left over plastic the dealership didnt pull off. I've been picking at it trying to get it off without damaging the wheel. Its almost as if they wrapped the rim and then put the tires on, its tough to pull off lol.

Yeah I had the same thing with the plastic. The best way is to take a pencil or pen and cut it from the inside and peel it off. If you don't take it off, it will heat up and burn onto the rim.

I just went outside and used a pencil like you suggested, worked perfectly. The plastic was pretty brittle now that it had been heated up a few times. Im now working on getting the plastic out from behind the door panel on the inside lol.

yes it does seem to go from dark "flat" red at times in the dark/shade to the really nice orange metallic color in full sunlight. Heres the best way I can show it really. Its one of those you have to see in person to really get the whole picture. Hope this helps a little.
