Love all 3 of these cars. I think an FR-S/BRZ/GT-86 would be the most FUN on the track. (I've driven a carrera GT2 and my Z on the track already). I can't wait to drive a toyobaru.
I do think this test should have compared a MX-5, 370z base, and FR-S/GT-86 since they are much closer in price.

dude needs to learn how to drive the z and then compare it to the FRS which imo comes out of the factory as an unstable car.the only fun to be had in the frs is fish tailing it out of the curves ? LMAO.

I think this FRS crap is just hype... It's good and dandy and all that it handles well, but honestly, I don't want a boxer engine, and I just don't think it looks good...
I'm sure there will be or are turbo kits for the car giving it an OK or acceptable 0-60 time... But there is no replacement for displacement... And thank god no one keeps the Z stock, swap the exhaust and intake, and all of a sudden you hear the engine, you hear the exhaust, you freed the horsepower and now you're ready to rumble... When I first saw the FRS, ew, walked away, second time I was at a dealer looking to buy my dad a car, and what REALLY put me off was the exhaust tips that are doubled... How ghetto is this thing??? And for $25k, I'd buy a base 370Z... Sorry FRS/BRZ fans... That being said, I'm a sucker for Toyotas, but FRS, get away from me |

They should compare the FRS to the Miata, I'll give you that... But I hate that everyone is over hyping the FRS... |

* in response to syntax1269: Chris Harris does prefer Porsche: he owns a GT3 RS 4.0, but this Cayman isn't his. A lot of us on this forum probably prefer the 370z; but, there is a lot of truth coming from his review of these cars. I keep watching this vid. over and over. . . the Z as an underdog haha |
