That would go for almost any sport vehicle ever made. :D

To be fair one could also buy a Nismo at invoice spend the same amount for mods and that base car would be back where it started..:icon17:

Point is, it's not all about what's faster etc.. It's not about 'just as good or better'.. It's about having the Genuine article..

+1

It's the #1 retort used by base owners from Honda to Ferrari and everything in between. ;)

This is a 2 for 2 review. Car and driver had said the only thing they could find an advantage on the nismo
Is .01g more grip. N they gave that to the tires n nothing more.
Also they said the nismo was marginally more taught on the track but had a harsher ride.
Finding it too uncomfortable for such minor performance increases.
Seems like this NISMO IS A WASTE OF CASH. Unless u really feel that bodykit n tires are worh
An extra 5g's over the sport package?
IMHO I think money is better spent on doing ur own mods.

bboypuertoroc 07-23-2009 12:13 PM

I don't think they drove the car to it's full potential.

Are you just here to spread sh1t or do you actually think before you post?
Sorry for the direct approach, but most of your post on this forum have been horrible, either wrong information, blatant trolling, or all of the above.

I just read that article n realized. Its edmunds.com.
Tho I jus said the the reviews r 2 for 2 with C&D, I wouldn't
Hold any of there high performance reviews to any regard.
They always have performance stats that are contra the major
7 car mags.
And they are chronically biased toward muscle cars. They don't seem
To understand or have the skill for japanese performance.
Case in point. Edmunds got:
0-60 5.2 and 5.3
Almost every major mag has pulled 4.7 to 5.1 wit avg. 4.9 on the stick
On the automatic they have pulled 4.6 to 4.9 wit avg 4.7 sec on most mags.
The quarter mile has consistant avgs. Of 13.1 to 13.3.
Edmunds gets 13.5 n 13.6 in there tests.
Lateral grip. The biggest diffency of accurate consistancy.
All major mags hav seen .97g to .99g on sport pkg.
Nismo has seen .99 to 1.01
How the hell does edmunds get .94g? Who's driving? The editors Great
Grandma? When ur that far off its hard to take there articles too seriously.

Dude 1st off. I read the article. N they did not show any great improvement except fot slight margin in track handling n grip. $34,900 vs 39,800 in my opinion is a big jump for just marginal performance that can be gained in mods for about 2grand less. I'm not trolling n its not misinformation. So its the same 4 all the time instigatin fights on here.
Dreamer, nurburgring, 370z purist n robert nash. Always talkin stuff thinkin u kno something others don't. Its gettin boring.

370 Touring Vs 370 Nismo Comparo w/ Video?

Can someone help a noob? I can't find this video that compares the cars. I've looked up and down all the threads and I didn't see it.

The video is just above the comments posted at the bottom and just after the 370Z Touring specs.

So the prices are relatively the same. Looks like the Touring is a better bang for the buck?

Auston 01-02-2010 11:28 PM

Just a note, the edmunds review referenced documents a 370Z Touring with Sport Package
(as opposed to a 370Z Touring without the SP). This is evident by the specs. for the tires and wheels.
