Today I learned how to tell AMS/VIS rear and front from Amuse /Shine Auto rear and front. I consider today a success.

Sure.
Amuse/Shine rear. AMS rear. Notice that the bump is not as deep or sharp, more round, so the depth of the license plate area is shallower. Also the side vents are not really vents, there is no mesh there. As well look around the rear lights area, not as deep due to the less pronounced bump. AMS front. Notice the vents at the ends of the "smile" are solid as well, no mesh. The crappy part is that everywhere they sell this kit, they use actual Amuse pictures, so there is no way to know that it is different until you receive the kit. I am not saying that the differences are good or bad, but it would be nice to be aware of them. |

I hope it's a lot cheaper than Aerojacket or Shine auto reps because they did a really poor job of replicating the kit. Or perhaps they meant to.

The side skirts are covers too... the real kit uses a replacement skirt.

Yeah I didn't want to step on any toes. At Zdayz I got to see a real amuse (TerribleOne's FastIntentions TT) next to a shine auto rep and an ebay rep (copy of a copy) all at the same time. The shine rep and original were identical, the other is more rounded less pronounced plus all the differences stated by coolT.

yup....
I picked up a set of stock skirts and I am going to try and have the body shop mold them together with the covers to create a flush fitting Amuse style skirt. It's the one thing about the ED kit that disappointed me. The rest of the kit is very good considering the price point.
