How do you tell the replica from the real ones? :O I usually look at the fitment by the corners, although that could be fixed by a bodyshop. As well as the material, but you would have to touch the bumper to feel that and it's not very polite to do so lool

It is deeper. Look for other amuse bumpers and you will see that the indentation is not as deep. You can spot it. Now that is half the battle because there are other replicas that has the same depth as the OG Amuse. I am not taking credit for this GREAT observation because that accolade belongs to cooltoy. He studies these things and uses a microscope to see all the nuances.

Hey .c2..

Are those the TE37TTA? If so, what offset do you have?

:bowrofl:

Scanning Electron Microscope to boot.

Shine Auto and Aerojacket can not be distinguished from Amuse once painted. Only replicas other then those two.

Lack of cut out vents is another clue.

And the rear is more rounded, with the rep of reps, it doesn't have the crease on the rear that the real and Shine/CS and AJ reps do.

Oh good thing I have the shine then :rofl2: The one's with no cut out vents, or without the diffuser tray on the bottom of the front bumper and with shallower cuts look pretty bad imo :S but maybe because I've been working with my kit for so long I'm just used to it..

Yup. 19x9.5 +23 with 265/35/19 on the front and 19x11 +23 with 305/30/19 in the rear. 10mm spacers all around, front fenders are rolled and pulled though so if it were stock fenders I'd probably have to take out the 10mm spacer up front to clear the tires. Used to have 245s up front and 285s in the rear with a 15mm spacer up front and 25mm spacer in the rear lol

I wouldn't say that it looks bad.

a) There is no point of upsetting the people that have them.
b) It is still based on the Amuse and looks way better then most of the kits out there.

I would say - it does not quite look the same, which maybe be interpreted by some people as better better or worse. It still looks good and the price saving is worth to some people.

I'm not too sure what brand this is but I was mainly talking about this;

Not meant to offend anyone of course, nothing wrong with saving money and looking much better than stock

Thanks! I want the TTAs, but I'm trying to judge how the offset would look. :icon17:

Looks like a Duraflex. If I decide to pull the trigger, it'll be a ShineAuto kit
