Why do you want to put airbags on your beautiful SPORTS car????

It will never perform like a sports car should once you do it. I would say talk to 2thextreme (Tony/Smurf) but he got rid of the car soon after bagging it.

Not trying to bash you, just trying to provide a fair warning.

You realize that air suspension has changed a lot in the last few years right? You can have a traditional coilover set up with air ride added in so you don't destroy your car every time you go over a speed bump or up a driveway.. No handling issues and if the air system fails then you are just sitting on a set of coilovers. The added weight of the system is negligible compared to the amount of money to repair or replace front bumpers constantly from riding around too low.

exactly!

I know two guys personally that use accuair and it utilizes their coilovers. This is what I intend to do. My major reasoning is to prtoect the side skirts of the amuse kit as much as possible. I'm pretty low and those side skirts are deathly low. I barely make it into my apartment complex and actually can't even drive the car onto the base I work on bc of them.

So I've been digging around again comparing aerojacket and shine kits again and I noticed that most aerojacket pictures had a gap at the corners of the bumper/fender area. I looked over shine pictures and didn't see a gap on their kit.

Does that seem right?

Riptide67 04-27-2014 01:02 PM

Mine has no gaps whatsoever on any corners. It matches everything extremely well. I really couldn't believe it myself and a lot of people went nuts over the quality of the figment from AJ. Keep in mind, it's all CF.

Here's a couple pictures of my car on these race ramps I bought. I'm lowered on coilovers and my front bumper was hitting the middle of the ramp before my tires...I had to use a few things. Just giving heads up if anyone buying these ramps and is lowered on coilovers. Im looking at the 67" extenders for the ramps right now. Also I need to find rubber mats. The ramps kept sliding in my garage.

That's why I'm guessing there is inconsistency in quality from AJ. If you look at the pictures of his own car that he uses to promote the kit...you can see the gaps.

I guess it also depends on the shop installing it and how good they are
