I was on the fence with getting these, but thought I'd try a different look. They came with screws so I dilled from the back prior to putting the bumper on. One note; these are made for Aero Jackets Amuse bumpers. They have a slight curve to them. My shine Auto was flat where these mount. I ended up (after screwing them on) using some black silicone body seam filler to fill in the small gap. It blended in nicely and can't even tell.

Of course. Gives her another reason to drive it. We're going to do a photo shoot with her in the shots since she's a figure competitor & model...keep your eyes posted :happydance:

It's in this thread. Page 23.

Just ordered my amuse kit in carbon today! Now the unbearable waiting period!

FairladyZ10PG 07-15-2014 07:08 PM

How are other amuse owners changing their oil? I can't jack up my car without having to remove the sideskirts. Just trying to get ideas since I can't fit my jack under the car even with the home made wooden ramps (not high enough). :shakes head:

axmea? 07-16-2014 01:07 AM

Its a hot mess with these skirts. You need two low profile jacks from harbor freight and four stands to do it right or take it to a local shop like I do. Just pay for $15 labor and disposal fee. I bring my own oil, filter, and gasket.

definitionxmk 07-16-2014 02:21 AM

i roll up on some wood. jack it up w more wood touching the jack and the frame, then put the jack stand. i then jack up the other side and the same way to level it out. then i have to take off the whole front bumper to get to the oil filter (oil filter relocation kit). it sucks.

inf3kted 07-16-2014 03:20 AM

Dam nismo wheels have some pretty sick concave.

I take mine to service centers with underground access. I didn't wanna deal with low ramps and stacking wood.

Thanks for the feedback!

Where do you go? the place I go to will charge way more than $15. They say it's annoying to take off the front bumper so they'd have to charge me more :shakes head:

man it requires a lot of work and equipments just to get the car up...considering cutting out the access hole so I can change oil w/o having to remove the bumper each time

I'm assuming your front bumper doesn't need to be removed for oil changes?

cooltoy 07-16-2014 12:30 PM

Did you cut a larger access opening during install?

FairladyZ10PG 07-16-2014 12:42 PM

naw didn't need to at first so I decided not to
it's become extremely more difficult since getting the side skirts

There's a place out here in Newhall, CA that I go to for all my cars and they take care of me with the Z. They run a car wash along with their pit for oil changes. Despite the pit of they still want me on planks to make sure.

A clean cut out with a nice cover is all you nee.

Wearing combats and working in turrets makes for dirty smelly clothes and I don't want them in my Z. I have four cars, the Z is my pleasure vehicle. Each and every drive is special!
