Like this.

The light itself is for a Toyota Sequoya part number is 81570-42071.

ah, thanks. That does look weird without the brake light. Looks like it's a must, for me, at least.

cooltoy 04-02-2014 01:58 PM

Or maybe you can get the body shop to fill it somehow.

Carbon Signal, Shine Auto (same manufacturer) or Aero Jacket, there are others but I would not go that route.

Authentic i guess? how much did it cost you guys plus the paint?

cooltoy 04-03-2014 11:02 AM

Authentic ~ $5000 (with wing and CF) + ~$2000 for paint.

wheee! 04-03-2014 11:19 AM

Replica ~$1500 (no wing) + ~ $3000 for paint.

don't get me wrong, the Genuine Amuse is a great kit and is a great fit from what I hear too. It's just very hard to get in Canada and extremely expensive.

cooltoy 04-03-2014 11:24 AM

Exact replica ~ $ 2500 (with wing and CF)

what's an "exact" replica? A pre-painted kit?

cooltoy 04-03-2014 03:14 PM

No.

It means identical to Amuse. The kit Wheee! is talking about is slightly different.

wheee! 04-03-2014 04:44 PM

Mine is a Duraflex kit from Extreme Dimensions. Not the exact copy of Amuse, but very close and the price/fitment are very good. Some people have hated on the Duraflex kits in the past but I don't think they have first hand experience with them. My experience so far has been very good and the fitment is around 8 or 9 out of 10. It goes in for paint work on Monday. Pics to follow.

cooltoy 04-03-2014 07:38 PM

Don't think this one is in the thread.

Yep.

axmea? 04-04-2014 02:29 AM

Never paid attention to it but just noticed that the Amuse wing went over the existing brake light on the hatch. Do Amuse wings have a light that come with it?

KaienZ34 04-04-2014 07:33 AM

No it's extra.

Dont know if I am in total love with the amuse wing with the kit as I am with the stock spoiler or duckbill/add-on.

Thanks for the information on Duraflex Wheee. Now I can take it into some serious consideration. +1

I got a super good deal on the Seibon carbon fibre NS wing so I am going to rock that with the amuse kit.

I will post a build thread for the duraflex kit when I'm done with paint and body. I will show the good the bad and the ugly so people can make an informed choice.

Mine is in the shop right now. I had to wait a month longer than expected to get my car in. Is yours painted complete or just mounted?
Pics??

EDIT: I saw your other posts... looks good! As for the skirts, they are indeed covers rather than proper skirts.
